One of the most commonly asked questions by someone who finds themselves dealing with a bed bug infestation in their home is "How did I get bed bugs?..."
Finding out that you have bed bugs is almost like an assault on your senses. It often conjures emotions of being violated or attacked and we hear this from our customers all the time! Naturally, when one feels this way it is normal to try and figure out where the bed bugs came from.
There are literally hundreds of ways that you can get bed bugs! You can get them by taking public transit, planes, trains, taxis and more. But you can also get them in public places such as movie theatres, hospitals, offices or even in a restaurant! You can literally get bed bugs anywhere these days!

After you realize that you've contracted bed bugs and they're in your home and you've had them successfully exterminated you MUST make sure that you do not re-infest your home! If, for instance, you're pretty sure that you got them from a recent vacation its pretty simple, however, if you have no clue as to where they came from ( a common thing), it poses a very real risk that you may encounter them again and bring them back home... No one wants that to happen!
So, around half of the clients that we deal with do, in fact, know where they got the bed bugs from and the half, well, don't. In the latter case, we work with you to try to determine how you got them so that you don't get them again.
